She started acting as a child

Chika’s love for acting didn’t start in Nollywood. Born on November 8, 1985, in Onitsha, Anambra State, she began performing in church plays at just six years old. After completing her early education, she pursued a diploma and a degree in Human Kinetics and Health Education at the University of Lagos. In 2014, she took things further by attending the New York Film Academy in Los Angeles to master filmmaking.

Her big break came in 2005

Chika Ike made her Nollywood debut in 2005 with Sweet Love, but it was Bless the Child that put her on the map. Since then, she has starred in hit movies like Girls Cot, Mirror of Beauty, To Love a Stranger, and Small Chops (2020). In 2014, she founded Chika Ike Production, focusing on creating impactful films that tell meaningful stories.

She’s a successful businesswoman

Chika is not just about acting, she’s also making big moves in business. In 2011, she launched her own cosmetics brand, proving that she has an eye for entrepreneurship. She later ventured into real estate with The Maison, a housing project offering modern homes.

She turned her personal struggles into strength

Chika Ike was previously married to Tony Eberiri, but their marriage ended in 2013. She has openly spoken about experiencing domestic violence and has since used her voice to advocate for women in similar situations. Despite facing media drama, including rumours about being linked to billionaire Ned Nwoko in 2020, she has always stayed focused on her goals.
