Chika’s love for acting didn’t start in Nollywood. Born on November 8, 1985, in Onitsha, Anambra State, she began performing in church plays at just six years old. After completing her early education, she pursued a diploma and a degree in Human Kinetics and Health Education at the University of Lagos. In 2014, she took things further by attending the New York Film Academy in Los Angeles to master filmmaking.

Chika Ike made her Nollywood debut in 2005 with Sweet Love, but it was Bless the Child that put her on the map.
