Self-acclaimed porn star, Elizabeth Ajibola, popularly known as Maami Igbagbo, has sparked reactions online after appearing in a viral 2025 video dressed in white garment attire, holding a Bible, and standing in what looks like a church.
The video, which began trending earlier this week, has fueled speculation that the former adult entertainer may have given her life to Christ, barely a year after she publicly quit the adult film industry.
In February 2024, Maami Igbagbo had announced her retirement from pornography via a now-viral post on her X (formerly Twitter) handle, saying,
“I am retiring from Adult Entertainment Industry. It’s been an amazing journey.”
Before that, she went viral on Nons Miraj’s talk show, where she introduced herself with full confidence,
“I am a porn star, an international porn star and I want a man that is going to be helping me into this my new version, a porn star. I have got a lot of natural talents, I need you to be with me.”
When asked about her body count, she responded, “Let me just say, one thousand people.”
Now in 2025, her sudden shift in appearance, fully clad in a white robe with a Bible in hand has ignited a fresh wave of commentary online.
One of the reactions that caught her attention was from a popular X user @honest30bgfan, who wrote “Remember Maami Igbagbo? A very popular porn star. She has now given her life to Christ. Wow, can you marry a girl with her type of past?”
The post, which she reposted to her Instagram story, generated over 790,000 views, with thousands engaging in the conversation.
In another screenshot she shared, a follower messaged her directly on Instagram saying, “I followed you cos I believe change is inevitable and I believe you will succeed in your new journey. Cheers.”
But not everyone was buying into the transformation.
On X, users had a field day:
@sasmanic wrote, “Going to cele is not giving your life to Jesus.”
@Optimus_Dracula tweeted, “I pity the man who will take her.”
@colexsga (BLACK JESUS) added, “Marry keh 😂 you wan make my pikin friends show him video evidence?”
@Michael75105633 (VICTORY FROM GOD) said, “Old things has passed away, thank God for her life.”
@2sec__smog_ (Sam Not Locoo) posted, “Her videos Dey everywhere for site.”
And @SheunAdeola (Big Wolf 🐺) dropped the most controversial take, “A hoe’s final form is a religious woman. They know men are easily deceived by good characters. Women know the game, and they play it so well.”
So far, Maami Igbagbo has not issued a full public statement explaining the reason behind her new image, but her reposts suggest she’s standing firm in whatever journey she has chosen.
Whether it’s spiritual rebirth or a personal rebranding, one thing is clear, Elizabeth Ajibola is once again at the centre of public attention, and this time, it’s not for the reasons she was once known.
