AY Makun Expresses Concerns Over Nigeria’s Economic Struggles

AY Makun
Popular Nollywood actor and comedian, AY Makun, has expressed his concerns about the current situation of the country regarding the economic hardship affecting all sectors.
AY shared this in a social media post Instagram precisely, lamenting that despite growing up with the hope that “Nigeria go better,” things seem to be worsening, even in his fifties.
AY questioned the daily struggles of Nigerians, wondering how many people have incomes sufficient to cover basic living costs. His post read, “Nigeria go better us what one grew up hearing. I’m still hearing it in my fifties. What kind of Groundhog Day existence do we live in in this country, though? The more things seem to change, they remain the same.”
Captioning the post, the father of two asked, “How many of us do have wages more than sufficient enough to cover the bare cost of living in Nigeria?”
There were little surprises to what the veteran comedian had said, especially as it concerns actors and actresses seeking public assistance in one form or the other for their survival.
He follows in the footsteps of popular entertainers who have also expressed their concerns about the economic hardships of the country. Others are the likes of P-square, Area Fada-1, and others.
