Bianca Censori and Kanye West, who married legally on December 20, 2022, under a secret marriage license in California ​, are reportedly under mounting tension in their relationship.

Censori, an Australian architect and Yeezy Head of Architecture ​, is reportedly seeking more autonomy, both in her work and personally, as there are concerns raised over West’s controlling behaviour.

The social appearances by the couple have also been extensively covered, particularly due to the provocative attire by Censori, which has been the source of controversy and challenging West’s authority over what she wears.

During the 67th Grammy Awards in February 2025, the See-through dress worn by Censori caused an outcry, with the critics referring to the appearance as “crass” and “classless” .

According to reports by the Mirror U.S, the desire for independence by Censori has caused problems in the marriage, where there has been a report of disagreement over her looks and career options. The couple reportedly spent time at Majorca, Spain, wellness center, where they received therapy for the same ongoing marriage crisis.

“She wants to reclaim her voice and stop being seen as just ‘Kanye’s wife’,” a close source to the couple revealed. “He agreed to ease up, but if he backtracks, she’s walking—no hesitation.”

Although Censori tries to define herself as a person separate from her role as West’s wife, the fate of their marriage remains uncertain.
