Grammy-winning Nigerian singer, Damini Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy, has stirred controversy with a post following the crowning of Miss South Africa 2024, Mia Le Roux.

The singer, known for his outspoken views, took to his X page to share a three-word phrase, “So After ALL that…” with a laughing emoji, alongside a photo of the new Miss South Africa, without further elaboration.

The post, which has gone viral, has ignited a firestorm of reactions, with fans and critics alike speculating on the meaning behind the enigmatic message.

Many interpreted the teaser post as a subtle jab at the pageant’s outcome, given the recent uproar surrounding the eligibility of contestant Chidimma Adetshina, a 23-year-old model of Nigerian heritage who participated in this year’s Miss SA pageant.

Chidimma, who had initially made it to the Miss SA finals, was embroiled in a citizenship controversy that led to her withdrawal from the competition.
