Nollywood actress Funke Akindele has revealed that she used to borrow clothes from her colleague, Sikiratu Sindodo (Tayo Odueke), to look stylish on movie sets in her early days in the industry.

She shared this during a recent conversation via Snapchat with her close friend and fellow actress, Eniola Badmus, while reflecting on the struggles she faced before her breakthrough.

Akindele recalled how Sindodo always helped her pick outfits when she had to attend a movie shoot.

“I remember back then when I used to borrow dresses from Tayo Sindodo. Sindodo would help me choose nice ones from her tops if I was going to a movie set,” she said.

She also spoke about the role Iyabo Ojo played in supporting her during those difficult times, noting that Ojo would drive them around in her small red car and always encourage them.

Currently on vacation in Ghana with Eniola Badmus and content creator Kamo, Akindele said she hopes her story will inspire others going through tough times in their careers.
