Tanzanian media personality and model, Karen Bujulu, has cleared the air on her separation with singer Juma Jux, stating that she was never unfaithful, contrary to rumours.

Bujulu, in a post shared on her Instagram Stories on Wednesday, said she chose to remain silent while false narratives spread online, but had now decided to speak up.

“I didn’t cheat. I was the one who got cheated on,” she wrote.

She said she stayed in the relationship longer than she should have and forgave multiple times until she could no longer endure it.

According to her, she avoided addressing the matter earlier because she didn’t feel the need to explain herself online.

However, she expressed frustration that almost every post she makes is still linked to her former relationship.

“Let me be clear: I’ve moved on. I’ve healed. I promise you, I don’t want anything or anyone back,” she added.

Bujulu also appealed to the public to stop dragging her name into a chapter of her life that she had already closed.

Her post comes months after her quiet breakup with Juma Jux, who recently tied the knot with Nigerian influencer, Priscilla Ojo.

While Jux has yet to respond to her comments, the post has sparked fresh reactions across social media, with many of her followers commending her for speaking out and choosing peace.
