Nigerian rapper, Panshak Zamani, best known as; “Ice Prince” has officially confirmed that his Contract with Chocolate City is over.

The Jos-born artist made this announcement on Thursday in an interview with Dotun Kayode on popular radio station 96.9 Cool FM.

This news came as a surprise to his fans because just a couple of months ago the singer was announced as the Vice President of the Chocolate City Group.

However, Ice Prince has explained that his contract had expired for a few years now but due to the healthy relationship he has with the label owners, he decided not to publicize it.

Meanwhile in the singer’s newly released song; Chike, featuring Marvin’s own Korede Bello, the ‘famous’ “Chocolate City logo” was conspicuously missing on all the artwork and graphic designs used to promote the song.

It was reported that in the past two years the 29-year-old removed every public affiliation linking him with Chocolate City, including his social media handles.

Ice-Prince, who is set to drop his third studio album titled ‘Jos To The World’, revealed he will announce his own record label, ‘Super Cool Cats’ soon.

He becomes the third act to announce departure from Chocolate City in the past 6 months.

Ice Prince’s record deal with Chocolate City came off his affiliation with MI and Jesse Jagz.
