Kris Jenner Reveals Inspiration Behind Kim Kardashian And Kanye West’s Son’s Name, Psalm

Kris Jenner, the matriarch of the Kardashian-Jenner family while attending the 2019 Fresh Air Fund Spring Benefit with boyfriend Corey Gamble has revealed the inspiration behind her daughter Kim Kardashian and son-in-law, Kanye West’s son’s name, Psalm West.

According to the 63-year old reality TV star and momager, her grandson who is the newest addition to the family has a story behind his name.

She said,

“The inspiration was the Book of Psalms in the Bible. I think it’s just a wonderful way to celebrate how they feel. And he’s such a blessing, so it’s perfect.”

The biblical meaning of the name Psalm means “sacred song or hymn.”

You may recall that Kim and Kanye West welcomed their fourth child via a surrogate mother earlier this month, May 10th. In sweet Mother’s Day message, Kanye shared the first photo of baby Psalm. The newborn was carried by a different surrogate mother and not the same one that carried her third child, Chicago who is now 1 year old.

In other Kardashian news, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West will mark their fifth wedding anniversary tomorrow, May 24, and an excited Kim is already looking forward to the special day.

She shared unseen photos of her glam squad getting her ready and told a short story of how she and West had to be rushed because they flew in that morning. Sharing the photos, she wrote,

“This was my wedding day almost 5 years ago in Italy. We flew in from Paris and our glam was rushed as we were trying to make it on time! We barely got my veil in as I was being pushed out the door so fast to walk down the aisle because Andrea Bocelli had started singing and I couldn’t miss it. I had no idea it was really him until I got to the aisle and screamed inside! So many amazing memories.”
