Achraf Hakimi, the Moroccan and Paris Saint-Germain defender, has been the subject of rumours that his fortune was transferred into his mother’s name.

Following the social media uproar last week, about the PSG full-back, Achraf Hakimi transferred his wealth in his mothers’ name.

However, when questioned about this, Hakimi’s mother, Saida Mouh, stated that she was not aware of any such arrangement.

She said, “If he has taken any action to protect himself, I’m unaware of it. What’s the problem if the news is true? If my son does not do this, he will not be able to get rid of that woman [Hiba Abouk].”

This issue arose after Hakimi’s ex-wife, Hiba Abouk, discovered that she could not claim half of her ex-husband’s assets as they were registered under his mother’s name.

Despite the mixed reactions this news has garnered, Mouh claimed that her son did not inform her of any transfer and that she did not know about it.

Mouh also stated that if her son had taken any action to protect himself, she was unaware of it.
Reports according to the Spanish media outlet, Marca, suggest that Abouk will not receive any of Hakimi’s fortune as everything is registered under his mother’s name, and she is the sole beneficiary of his income and wealth.

The couple divorced last month, and Abouk was requesting half of Hakimi’s property and wealth, but she discovered that he has nothing to his name.

Hakimi is known as one of the world’s best right-backs and is one of the most expensive players in Africa.
