N1b suit: Your backers will trade their credibility for my publicity, VeryDarkMan tells Bobrisky
Controversial activist Martins Otse, known as VeryDarkMan, has responded to social media star and Nigeria’s foremost crossdresser, Bobrisky’s threat of a N1 billion lawsuit for alleged defamation, revealing that the integrity of many people will go down.
Today, Bobrisky’s legal team accused VeryDarkMan of sharing an AI-generated audio recording aimed at ruining her reputation. They demanded he retract his statements and apologize within 24 hours.
In a bold Instagram post, VeryDarkMan claimed he got the WhatsApp chat from someone Bobrisky allegedly contacted.
He also took a jab at Bobrisky’s newfound confidence, questioning her past talk of suicidal thoughts. The activist further threatened to countersue Bobrisky for N1,000,000,020, playfully hoping to pocket an extra N20.
“The integrity of many people will be at stake during this legal battle,” he warned. “Bobrisky, didn’t you say you wanted to ‘kpai’ yourself? Are you not back on your feet? Well, in this case, they will trade their credibility for my publicity, just like before. I promise you, many people will regret taking this on. Now, Bobrisky claims she has the strength to sue me and has given me 24 hours. That tells me they’re working together. I believe what I’ve revealed is bigger than it appears.”
He continued, “Did Bobrisky pay someone N3 million when she didn’t receive it from Falz? I can defend myself anywhere. Bobrisky has sued me for N1 billion, but I’ll turn it into a joke with my N1,000,000,020 and that N20 gain. I will make all of you look foolish in this country.”
“WhatsApp calls are encrypted. How long did Bobrisky really talk to Falz? If she had that much time to chat with the person I got this recording from and called others from prison, how many times did you give her the phone?”
