Funke Akindele-Bello and other Nigerians react to removal of Blue Tick by Twitter
Twitter has removed its verification status for users with its blue tick after its announcements of its charges.
Taking to Twitter, popular Nigerian actress, Funke Akindele, also known as Jeniffa has reacted to this; she said in her short Tweet,
“Ha!! Blue Tick!! O ma se o!! Oju a tun ra ri….”

translated this: “Ha blue tick!! What a pity, we shall meet again”
It should also be noted that various celebrities have had their blue ticks removed, due to failure to comply with its new policy.

Twitter announced it will begin to charge for its verification ticks in the region of $7.99 for Nigerian users.
