Billionaire businessman, Femi Otedola, has urged his daughter, Temi, to succumb to her husband, Afrobeats singer, Oluwatosin Ajibade, popularly known as Mr Eazi, describing him as a good man from a decent family and now her boss.

The oil magnate made the remark during the couple’s white wedding held at Hallgrímskirkja Church in Reykjavík, Iceland.

In a video that went viral on Saturday, Otedola told Temi before guests, “You found a great guy, he is from a very decent family. One thing I will advise Temi is, you have to succumb to your husband and he’s your boss. There’s no more daddy. Don’t call me.”

The colourful ceremony was witnessed by family and close friends, including Temi’s mother, Nana Otedola, her sister, Florence “DJ Cuppy” Otedola, and business mogul, Aliko Dangote.

Otedola also recalled first meeting Mr Eazi in 2017, noting that he had predicted at the time that the singer would eventually marry his daughter. He went on to share some of the hurdles faced in planning the wedding, including a storm that destroyed their tent in Dubai just a week before the Iceland event.

The billionaire further credited his wife, Nana, for raising their children while he focused on business, and urged Temi to be devoted to her marriage. He advised the couple to resolve their issues privately and always protect their home.

Temi and Mr Eazi had earlier sealed their union in Monaco with a civil wedding on May 9, followed by their traditional Yoruba ceremony in Dubai in July.

The couple, who met at an event organised by DJ Cuppy in 2018, got engaged in April 2022 before finally completing their wedding rites this year.
