Tonto Dikeh, Iyabo Ojo, visits late singer Mohbad’s Family As Sam Larry Follows Actress
Nollywood stars Tonto Dikeh and Iyabo Ojo, visited Mohbad’s Family Amidst Calls for Justice.
Last week, the music world was saddened by the passing of Mohbad, Nigeria’s fast-rising star. However, questions have arisen surrounding the circumstances of his death, leaving many Nigerians seeking answers.
In response to growing concerns and calls for justice, the Nollywood stars paid a visit to Mohbad’s family in the Lekki area of Lagos State last Thursday to offer their condolences and support.
This visit is part of a larger movement demanding justice for the late rapper. Nigerians from various cities have taken to the streets, urging authorities to investigate and hold accountable those responsible for Mohbad’s untimely demise.
Even before the celebrity visits, the police had initiated an investigation into the matter. Inspector General of Police (IGP) Kayode Egbetokun ordered a thorough probe into the circumstances surrounding Mohbad’s passing.
Force spokesman Muyiwa Adejobi quoted the IGP as issuing a “direct and urgent directive to the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, instructing him to initiate a swift and comprehensive investigation into the tragic passing” of the singer.
In the midst of these developments, popular socialite Sam Larry made an unexpected move by following actress Tonto Dikeh on Instagram. Sam Larry has faced allegations on social media suggesting his involvement in Mohbad‘s death, which he has strongly denied.
Sam Larry’s recent online criticism stems from a video that surfaced, showing him and his friends causing disruptions during a video shoot with Zlatan Ibile, in which Mohbad was also involved.
Tonto Dikeh shared her thoughts on the matter on her Instagram page. She expressed her surprise at Sam Larry following her, suggesting that it might be an attempt to “keep your enemies close.” She also encouraged Sam Larry to reflect on his actions and prove his claimed love for the late singer, who was like family to him.
As the nation awaits answers regarding Mohbad’s passing, the call for justice continues to resonate across Nigeria.
