Why I featured Odumodublvck, Chike in ‘Funds’ – Davido
Nigerian music star David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has shared the reason behind his decision to feature Odumodublvck and Chike in his single, Funds.
According to the singer, his choice is rooted in his pride in showcasing Nigerian talents.
Davido disclosed this during a recent appearance on The Baller Alert Show. He said, “I will be releasing my new album next year. I’m trying to make real African records. I have another lead single coming in about a couple of days, titled ‘Funds.’ I featured both of them; it’s like, why run away from home when everybody is running there now.”

Speaking further, Davido added, “It features the current biggest rapper in Nigeria, Odumodublvck, and Chike. He is the Bryson Tiller of Nigeria; girls love him.”
In the interview, the 32-year-old singer also shared details about how he collaborated with Chris Brown for their Grammy-nominated single Sensational.
According to the hitmaker, he was working with Chris Brown on two songs but the American singer was particular about Sensational
The song, featuring Davido and Lojay, earned both artistes their first Billboard Hot 100 entries and earned Lojay his first Grammy nomination.
