Ycee Unveils Cover Art, Tracklist, Release Date For Debut Album, Ycee Vs Zaheer

Rapper Oludemilade Martin Alejo, well known as Ycee has unveiled the cover art and tracklist to his much awaited debut album, Ycee vs Zaheer.The emcee made this public via his entire social media handle and also used that medium to thank fans for their support throughout his music journey.

He also revealed the album would be released on November 8, 2019, and promised it would be worth the long delay as everyone would enjoy the brilliance in it.

“#YCeeVsZAHEER. 2019 has been a very life-changing year for me, not just as an artiste but also as a human being. My musical journey has been filled with so many experiences … good and bad, highs and lows, losses and lessons, learning and evolution. It is with ultimate pleasure and absolute excitement that I am pleased to announce that my debut album #YCEEVSZAHEER will be dropping on the 8th of November 2019 and I promise it will be worth the wait!!!!! The album, which comprises 15 tracks, has featured songs with the likes of Davido, Niniola, Phyno and a UK artiste, MS Banks.YCee’s talent can never be undermined as he has proven in the past to be a great music performer and artiste. He rose to limelight after his single Condo, which features vocals from Patoranking, earned him two nominations at the 2015 Nigeria Entertainment Awards. He was also nominated for Best Artist in African Pop at the 2015 All Africa Music Awards.

He started his music career in 2012 as an underground rapper. He signed a record deal with Tinny Entertainment, but due to his educational engagements, he took time off from music after gaining admission to the University of Lagos. In May 2015, he released the critically acclaimed Condo.

On 20 July 2015, he released the hit single Jagaban. In October 2016, the songwriter signed a record deal with Sony Music, but terminated the contract with the label in February 2015.

His career further hit the limelight after he received a nomination for Revelation of the Year at the 2015 MTV Africa Music Awards, and Next Rated at The Headies 2016, which held in December 2016.
