Rapper Eminem Tells Ramaswamy To Stop Using His Songs
Rap artist, Eminem, has formally requested Republican presidential hopeful Vivek Ramaswamy, to cease using his music during campaign events. This request was revealed through a letter that became public on Monday. Ramaswamy, currently experiencing a surge in the Republican primary race, had been performing Eminem’s ‘Lose Yourself’ at the Iowa State Fair. The music licensing company Broadcast Music Inc. Ramaswamy, often likened to ‘Trump 2.0’, has secured the third position among Republicans vying for the 2024 presidential primary elections. Similar concerns were raised during the past two elections, as artists including Pharrell Williams, Rihanna, Aerosmith, and Adele expressed displeasure over the unauthorized use of their songs at Donald Trump’s rallies. The Rolling Stones even threatened legal action if the Trump campaign persisted in using their iconic track “You Can’t Always Get What You Want.”
