Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh on Sunday praised her ex-husband, Olakunle Churchill, and offered prayers for him at their son King Andre’s 10th birthday party in Abuja.
In a video from the celebration that later spread across social media, Dikeh spoke directly to Churchill and thanked him publicly.
She said, “Amazing. I just want to thank you so much. Thank you so much. I love you with the love of God, and I wish you all the best. I wish you all the best.
“I pray for your family. I pray for your business. I pray for all the children. They will progress. Failure will not meet them. Everything that they touch will be blessed.
“God will go before them and make every crooked path straight. Your business is replenished.
“Whoever curses you shall be cursed. Whoever fights you, God will fight. In Jesus mighty name I prayed.”
The fresh moment follows their January reconciliation posts after years of public feud.
In her January post, Dikeh wrote, “After 10 long years of public battles, deep wounds, broken communication, bitterness, and pain, God stepped in. What looked ugly, impossible, and beyond repair has been touched by mercy. Peace has replaced chaos. Respect has returned where anger once lived. What human effort could not fix, God healed by salvation, humility, and the sincere prayers of a child.”
She also said, “I am deeply grateful to the father of my child, Dr Kunle, for yielding to God’s word and choosing peace. Obedience to God always births restoration, even when the road has been long and painful.”
She ended that message with, “THIS MIRACLE IS CALLED 10YEARS IN ONE DAY.. EL-ROIIII”
Churchill also reacted, saying he heard from their son in a way that moved him.
He wrote, “I was pleasantly surprised when I received a call from my son, King Andre, for the first time. Hearing him call me “Daddy” was deeply touching and a reminder that what God cannot do does not exist.”
He added that they were now focused on co-parenting and moving forward in peace.
Dikeh and Churchill married in August 2015, but the marriage crashed less than two years later, with Dikeh officially announcing their divorce in July 2017.
