Zayn Malik’s Family Urges Him To Return To The UK
Zayn Malik’s family have reportedly pleaded with the singer to return to the UK following his alleged altercation with ex-Gigi Hadid’s mother, Yolanda.
The 28-year old singer had pleaded no contest to the four arrest charges made against him back in November. Malik was also sentenced to 360 days probation, an anger management course, and he must have no contact with Yolanda or a security guard who witnessed the fight.
An insider has revealed to The Sun that Zayn Malik’s family is now desperate to reunite with the Pillow Talk hitmaker.
They said: “Zayn is having a hard time right now, and his family just want him to return home to Bradford.”
“For Zayn’s mum [Trisha], she is having to watch her son struggle thousands of miles away, and it is really difficult for her.”
“A mother’s instinct is to protect her child, and that is all she wants for Zayn.”
However, Zayn has denied claims against him, including that he had pushed the reality star into a dresser and called her a “s**t.”
Yolanda Hadid had publicly accused Malik of assaulting her. The incident had occurred following a fight at his home in Pennsylvania he shares with Gigi Hadid and their daughter Khai.
His now ex-girlfriend Gigi Hadid had been modelling in Paris when Yolanda let herself into the couple’s home, seemingly without Malik’s consent.
A fight then ensued in which he allegedly called her a “f****** Dutch s**t” and warned her to “Stay the f*** away from my daughter.”
He then reportedly phoned Gigi in Paris and berated her down the phone, screaming: “Strap on some f*****g balls.”
A security guard witnessed the event, and he yelled at him: “Get the f*** out of my f***ing house, copper.”
Responding to the allegations, Zayn had posted a statement on social media confirming there was an incident. However, he noted that he pleaded no contest (although it was unclear at the time that he’d been criminally charged) and that he was trying to protect his daughter.
He also denied striking Yolanda “As you all know, I am a private person, and I very much want to create a safe and private space for my daughter to grow up in.”
“A place where private family matters aren’t thrown on the world stage for all to poke and pick apart.”
“In an effort to protect that space for her, I agreed to not contest claims arising from an argument I had with a family member of my partner’s who entered our home while my partner was away several weeks ago.”
