One of the main events that is greatly anticipated is the ‘Checkmate Lagos’ concert holding on December 7, and which will feature some of the most celebrated entertainers in Nigeria which includes rapper Zlatan, 9ice, comedian, Asiri, DJ Neptune, among others.

Speaking, a member of organising team said that the event set the tone for others, as they were ticking all boxes to guarantee a thrilling spectacle.

She said, “Checkmate Lagos will set the pace for other events to follow. We will create a never-ending experience for Lagosians at this event. Yes, we will checkmate Lagos”.

Also speaking, Asiri promised a memorable outing for Checkmate Lagos saying, “I am preparing specially for this event. The audience should get ready for thought-provoking comedy guaranteed to crack ribs”.

The event will hold at Checkmate lounge at the Oniru private beach and will feature the best in comedy, music and drama.

The event will be hosted by versatile Asiricomedy and renowned Mc Ajele.
