2023: Kumuyi charges Nigerians on peaceful polls

The General Overseer of Deeper Life Bible Church, Pastor William Kumuyi, has advised Nigerians to embrace peace before, during and after the 2023 general elections.

He urged Nigerians to vote according to their consciences while electing their leaders at all levels next year.

Kumuyi gave the charge, yesterday, at the ongoing seven days global crusade in Bori, headquarters of Ogoni ethnic nationality in Rivers State.

He said: “That’s why we have democracy and given the chance to know our candidates at the council, state and national levels.

“And since we want the best, and we have been dreaming and expecting that we have the best for our country, it’s to our advantage if we talk to ourselves and be at peace so that we can have a peaceful and fair elections to give everyone the chance to voluntarily elect the person he believes will give the best to our country.”
