The General Superintendent of Deeper Life Christian Ministry and the convener of Global Crusade, Pastor William Kumuyi, has urged Nigerians to stop creating differences and discord over political candidates and allow God to lead the country.

Kumuyi, who stated this at a press briefing held at the Lagos State University of Science and Technology (LASUSTECH), ahead of a five-day global crusade in Lagos, said Nigerians should also have open mind to enable them make sound judgment in the coming elections and not fight over political issues.

He said: “I want to say that let us stop fighting each other, confronting each other, opposing each other, but give God a chance to work in us and in this country and touch people everywhere.”

He also added that the five-day programme would contribute something to address political, economical and spiritual issues that would put the country back on the world map.

MEANWHILE, the Acting Vice Chancellor, LASUSTECH, Dr. Oluremi Olaleye, while receiving the clergy at the institution on Wednesday for the crusade, said the university community was happy to have him on the soil of the school for a week-long prayer and that they were ready to support its success.

Olaleye said: “We are hoping that after the week-long prayer, rain of anointing will come down. I want to say that for the week, LAUSTECH has become a home for those that will be here for the programme.”
