Twenty-six ships laden with petroleum products, food items and other commodities are expected to arrive Apapa and Tin Can Island Ports from Monday, June 20 to June 27.
This is contained in ‘’Shipping Position’’, a daily release by the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), made available to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Lagos on Monday.
According to the release, seven of the expected ships are laden with petrol while the remaining ones have bulk sugar, buck wheat, frozen fish, coal, base oil and containers.
The document added that seven ships had arrived the ports and waiting to berth with petrol and containers.
NAN reports that 18 ships are, already at the ports, discharging general cargoes, buck wheat, frozen fish, petroleum products and bulk sugar.
