Six ships laden with Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) otherwise known as petrol, have arrived Lagos ports, waiting to discharge.

The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) stated this in its publication – `Shipping Position’, – a copy of which was made available to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Friday in Lagos.

The document indicated that two other ships had arrived the ports waiting to discharge aviation fuel and ethanol.

NPA noted that 31 other ships containing petroleum products, food items and other goods were being expected at the ports from May 6 to May 26.

It explained that other expected ships contained general cargoes, bulk sugar, buck wheat, bulk salt, frozen fish, crude palm olein, bulk gypsum, bulk charcoal, containers, ethanol, kerosene and diesel

NAN reports that 20 other ships are at the ports discharging wheat, general cargoes, petrol, butane, Low Pour Fuel Oil (LPFO), base oil and containers.
