Adeboye says prayer critical to Nigeria’s economic restoration

The General Overseer, The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), worldwide, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, has said that there is an urgent need to pray for national economic restoration and enlargement.

Speaking on Friday during a press briefing to announce a special monthly thanksgiving service on Sunday, July 6, 2025 at RCCG headquarters themed, ‘Transformation of our Nation into the realm of Divine Opportunities’, Adeboye, represented by the Special Assistant to the General Overseer (Administration), who doubles as the Pastor in charge of Region 1, Oladele Balogun, assured Nigerians that things would not be the same again in Nigeria after the intercessory prayer at RCCG headquarters, The Throne of Grace, Ebute-Metta, Lagos

“Nigeria as well as other nations of the world are going through challenging times, which are only surmountable by faith.”
It is very clear that the leadership with his team is putting in everything humanly possible for the nation to come out of the economic mess.

“However, it is necessary to be positive and believe that better days are ahead. Hence, we are inviting to the event, managers and players in the economic sector, those whose capacities and capabilities are yet to be fully deployed in the economy, either unemployed or underemployed, fresh/intending entrants into the economy (youth corps members), every citizen, persons and families of diverse trades and backgrounds, earning a living in Nigeria.”

Present at the media chat were the Assistant Pastor in charge of Province 1, Olusegun Macaulay and Assistant Regional Pastor, Femi Olunuga.
