Adeboye warns leaders against judgment day
The General Overseer of The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) Worldwide, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, has warned leaders, especially political leaders to use their privileged position to re-write the story of this nation for the better.
He said God is keeping a record of all they are doing and would one day open His book of remembrance.
Adeboye, who spoke yesterday through the Assistant General Overseer (Administration & Personnel), Pastor Johnson Odesola, while ministering during the monthly thanksgiving service at the RCCG Headquarters, The Throne of Grace, Ebute-Metta, Lagos, said when God remembers one for bad, the consequence would always be grave.
The General Overseer said the situation in the country today is so bad with corruption, lying, love for money, shedding of innocent blood, determination to get whatever leaders want at all costs not minding whose ox is gored, loss of conscience by leaders, stealing and other vices, adding that if God were to remember Nigeria and its leaders and wish to pay Nigeria back, what would they expect.
He said the leaders had failed by leading without the interest of those they are leading at heart, amassing the wealth of the nation to themselves and not leading by example with values that incoming leaders would imbibe.
