ADP chairman, commander vigilance group killed in Plateau

ADP chairman in the state, Chief Nanyak Daman, said Fursom was killed yesterday in his village, Bayan Dutse-Fursom, Jos North local government council at about 12.35 a.m. on Tuesday.

The State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department (SCIID) Panti-Yaba, Lagos, yesterday arraigned a man before a Magistrate Court, who claimed to be the Oba of Lagos and using same to perpetrate fraud in the proposed Lekki Airport Investment project.

Chairman of Action Democratic Party (ADP) in Jos East, Mr. Waziri Fursom and the Commander, Jos North Vigilance Group, Musa Agalu, have been murdered.

ADP chairman in the state, Chief Nanyak Daman, said Fursom was killed yesterday in his village, Bayan Dutse-Fursom, Jos North local government council at about 12.35 a.m. on Tuesday.

Agalu, who was killed at Bukuru Park, Jos North by 11pm yesterday was being mourned by his Muslim family yesterday when The Guardian visited.

According to a security personnel, Agalu, was at the meeting where he had said measures should be taken against the drug miscreants in Jos North, particularly at the Old Bukuru Park.

But, unknown to him, some drug addicts he was speaking against were also present at the meeting

The hoodlums felt that the vigilance group commander was revealing their secret and they planned for his assassination, said the man who declined to be identified.

The police has confirmed the incident.
