Afolabi said this while receiving an award from the management of the Afe Babalola Multi-System Hospital (AMSH) during the commissioning of the hospital’s annex in Odo-Ado, Igirigiri Road, Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State. The commissioning was done by Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji with Afe Babalola in attendance.
While commending Afe Babalola’s developmental strides in the education and health sector, Olaoluwa said the taxation on imported medical goods and exchange rate has been counterproductive to investment in the sector.

Afolabi noted that with government’s support in the implementation of policies to reduce costs, the health sector and associated businesses will thrive.
He said the award given to his organisation was well deserved; attributing the company’s success to professionalism and quality service delivery to customers.
The Chief Medical Director (CMD), AMSH, Dr. Kolawole Ogundipe, said the awardees were recognised for their contribution to Aare Afe Babalola in building the multi-system hospital and the university.
Ogundipe, who praised Afolabi’s ShalomGrace Global Ventures Limited for being dependable to supply drugs, urged the awardees to remain consistent in their contribution to the health sector in Nigeria.
