Again, six die in Bauchi road crash
Barely 48 hours after 10 persons were confirmed dead by the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) along the Bauchi-Jos road, another six persons have lost their lives on same highway.
The corps’ Public Relations Officer for Bauchi State Sector Command, Rilwan Suleiman, who confirmed the development in a statement yesterday, explained that 24 others sustained varying degrees of injuries in the three accidents.
Rilwan said the first crash occurred on Sunday around1.23p.m. at Rijiyar Malam involving two vehicles that belonged to the Gombe State Government and a Volkswagen Golf 2 Wagon where 24 people were hurt.
He added that the second occurred same day at Takanda Giwa at 11.00a.m. involving a commercial Vectra vehicle and a Bajaj motorcycle.
