Ahmed seeks support for greater Kwara
Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed has sought the support of the people to take Kwara State to greater heights, the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports.
The governor, who made the plea in a new year message issued by his Senior Special Assistant (Media and Communications), Dr Muideen Akorede, prayed for fulfilled hopes and expectations.
Ahmed also called on the people to pray for continued peace in the state and the country as a whole.
He urged the people to join him in rededicating themselves to achieving collective aspirations for a better state.
The governor, therefore, restated his commitment to elevating the state and the people by providing more dividends of democracy.
He commended residents for their resilience and support for his administration in spite of the challenges the outgone year came with.
Ahmed acknowledged the difficulties experienced last year, expressing optimism that the challenges would soon end.
He pledged prompt service delivery to the people, assuring them that all ongoing projects would be completed.
