Aisha Buhari warns against sale of interest-free loan forms
Wife of President Muhammadu Buhari, Aisha, has warned those selling the interest-free loan forms at the Federal Ministry of Women Affairs to “desist from sabotaging the programme and allow the Nigerian women feel the change mantra.”
Aisha Buhari, who stated this yesterday in a statement by her Special Adviser on Media, Adebisi Olumide Ajayi, said it was disheartening to discover that the forms which are entirely free of charge were being sold to “unsuspecting people between N1,500 and N5,000” using her name.
She stressed that the major aim of the programme was to empower Nigerian women “especially those at the grassroots,” but the aim would be defeated if the selling was not stopped.
