Ajadi commiserates with Britain over Queen Elizabeth II’s death
The governorship candidate of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) in Ogun State, Olufemi Ajadi, has commiserated with the British people over the death of their monarch, Queen Elizabeth II.
Ajadi in a message of condolence said her passage was indeed a loss not just to the British people but to all her friends globally.
He said Nigeria and Britain shared a lot in common which predated independence.
The governorship candidate of the New Nigeria People’s Party had described Queen Elizabeth 11 as a revered icon who would surely be missed all over the world.
Ajadi particularly prayed to God to give the new King of England, Charles III, and the entire UK Royal Family, the fortitude to bear the loss.
According to him, the late queen played a great role in the positioning of the royal family globally and indeed occupied a special place in her history.
He sent his condolences to all commonwealth nations over the death of Queen Elizabeth.
According to Ajadi, there is so much to learn from Queen Elizabeth who dedicated all her life to serving humanity.
The NNPP chieftain noted that the Queen will always be remembered for her role in ensuring the United Kingdom maintains a very good relationship with other parts of the world.
He said her visits to Nigeria in 1956 showed how much she believes in the greatness Nigerians have to offer.
Ajadi added that: “My thoughts and prayers are with the new King, Charles III, the entire Royal Family, May she rest in eternal peace.”
