For 15 years, Houston’s party scene was Princess Belemzy now Apostle Queen Belemzy’s world. But on August 21, 2016, everything changed. Her journey is a testament to radical transformation. She describes that day as the moment God dramatically redirected her life.
 
Born Belema Abili and hailing from Patani in the oil-rich Delta State, she spent two decades in Nigeria before relocating to the United States, marking the beginning of a complex, winding path that ultimately led to her divine calling.
  
During these years, the vibrant entrepreneur was a fixture of the entertainment scene, living life as a high-profile party promoter in Houston. Church was far from her mind, and personal hardships eventually mounted.
 
A broken marriage, the loss of her left eye, and a forced relocation back to her parents’ house with her son left her world fractured. “Everything was hard. The only thing I had to do was submit to God,” she reflects.
 
According to her, that submission unlocked a profound spiritual awakening with the Holy Spirit that left her speaking in tongues for more than four hours. The following day, she picked up her phone and began preaching online. The very next day, August 22, 2016, an irresistible mandate dropped into her spirit: go online and preach.
  
Despite protesting that she lacked formal training, the Holy Spirit assured her of His guidance. Armed only with her phone and divine backing, she began preaching daily. “I didn’t know how to preach, but the Holy Spirit told me, ‘Don’t worry, I’ll help you.”
 
Her identity shifted alongside her spiritual growth. Initially known in her promotion days as “Princess Belemzy”— a moniker reflecting a lifelong, intuitive sense of royalty—her ministry underwent a higher coronation.
  
On November 11, 2022, a deeper spiritual elevation led to her crown as a queen. Today, she leads the Queen Belemzy Ministries School of Power. What started as a hesitant step of obedience has blossomed into a decade-long digital ministry, completely untethered from traditional seminary walls yet reaching souls across continents.
 
Explaining the divine moniker, she notes that God imparted a heavy mandate of healing to her name, making her a vessel of spiritual authority to the nations. “He anointed me, crowned me as a queen.
 
According to her, starting, the ministry was known as Princess Belemzy Ministries School of Power, but now “we’ve upgraded it to Queen Belemzy Ministries School of Power. God gave me the School of Power part because He said He has put so much power in me to heal the world.
 
“So I’m the Queen of Power. That’s what you saw, the power of God working here. Yeah, so that’s the School of Power; that’s how it came. God Himself gave me that name for the ministry.”
 
Though based in Columbus, Ohio, where she maintains a physical sanctuary, the former promoter operates a borderless, digital-first ministry. Having traveled to nearly 20 countries, her message resonates globally through YouTube and Facebook, bridging geographical divides to connect with an international flock.
 
Looking back at her turbulent past, she harbors no regrets, viewing every trial as a necessary forge for her destiny. Her only wish is that she had surrendered to Christ sooner, bypassing the heartaches of her youth.
 
Consequently, her message to contemporary celebrities and public figures facing public health crises and private battles is urgent and uncompromising: “Drop the lukewarm attitude and draw closer to God; He is real. It’s time to be serious with God. Jesus heals; we saw people getting healed today,” she said.
