The South-West Chieftain of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), Ambassador Olufemi Ajadi Oguntoyinbo, has redefined the vision of the NNPP during an end-of-year celebration organized by the Ogun State Chairman of the party, Olufemi John Aina. The event, held on Sunday, 29 December 2024, in Ado-Odo Ota, brought together party members, stakeholders, and supporters in a show of unity and commitment to the party’s vision.

In his address, Ajadi described the NNPP as a platform for “new initiatives from Nigerians,” emphasizing that the party is owned by the people and dedicated to their social, economic, and political integration. “The time to liberate Nigerians from economic hardships is now,” Ajadi declared. “The NNPP stands for the progress of people, and together, we will create a better Nigeria for all.”

He commended the federal government’s proposed initiative allowing citizens to vote using their National Identification Number (NIN), calling it a step towards electoral transparency and inclusiveness. “Anyone who opposes this initiative does not have good intentions for the political and social progress of our nation,” he said, pledging to assist Nigerians with their NIN and voter card registrations starting January 2025.

Ajadi reaffirmed his commitment to Nigeria’s liberation, stating, “Liberating our country is worth dying for. If one cannot fight for the progress of the nation, then what is the essence of being alive in a stagnant country?”

Olufemi John Aina, the Ogun State Chairman of NNPP, hailed Ambassador Ajadi as a ‘political and humanitarian liberator’ and praised his unwavering dedication to the party and the people. Aina also highlighted the impact of Cocosamba, a popular product from Ajadi’s Bullion Go-Neat Global Limited, crediting it with revitalizing many marriages. ‘Cocosamba has rejuvenated many broken homes and improved the lives of countless families,’ he noted.

Aina expressed gratitude to Ajadi for attending the event and prayed for his continued success and long life.

Omoba Adeshina, a party member, expressed his excitement about Ajadi’s promise to empower Nigerians dedicated to the nation’s progress through patriotism and commitment. ‘I came here today to personally thank Ambassador Ajadi for this great initiative and to confirm his promise of empowerment,’ Adeshina said.

Responding, the Ogun State Public Relations Officer of NNPP, Olayemi Olowu Omokehinde, affirmed, “Ambassador Ajadi is a man of his word. He is a talk-and-do politician who stands by his promises.”

The Organizing Secretary of NNPP in Ogun State, Taofeek Adegboyega, also spoke about Ajadi’s transformative impact on his life. “I was a farmer before meeting Ajadi, but today, in addition to farming, I am a successful land seller and business owner. His support has truly changed my life,” Adegboyega said, as he offered prayers for Ajadi’s continued success.

The event featured prayers for the safety and progress of NNPP members. Alhaji Taofeek Adegboyega offered Islamic prayers, while Pastor Jimoh led Christian prayers, with both seeking divine guidance for the party’s success in 2025 and beyond.

Ajadi was accompanied by several prominent NNPP members, including Shakirat Arowolo, the Ogun State Secretary of the party; Kilamuwaye Badmus, South-West PRO; Omokehinde Teluwo, 2023 senatorial candidate for Ogun West; and Isaac Izunya, the NNPP Ogun State legal advisor.

The celebration was celebrated on a high note, with party members reaffirming their commitment to NNPP’s vision of liberating Nigerians. They expressed optimism about taking over the political leadership of Ogun State in the 2027 general elections.

This end-of-year gathering highlighted the unity and determination of NNPP members, signaling a promising future for the party in Ogun State and beyond.
