American cleric tasks Christians on nation building
Visiting American cleric, Pastor Kenneth Yeagar, has admonished Nigerians to build for God and be good citizens of the country. Yeager, who is the Presiding Elder of Faith Tabernacle Congregation Church made this known in his message at the newly built church auditorium in Surulere, Lagos.
He said it is only when people build for God like erecting good places of worship that God will also touch their lives. While appreciating the inherent blessings in building of churches, he, however, emphasized that the main crux of the matter is for individuals to rebuild themselves spiritually by aligning themselves with the teachings of God, which to him is the most important.
The highlight of the occasion was the official dedication of the church auditorium situated at No. 24, Mercy Eneli Street, Surulere. Many dignitaries graced the occasion, including visiting pastors from within and outside the country, including Pastor Samuel Okhai from Ghana.
Yeager will be in the country for about a month on evangelical tour of Nigeria that will see him transverse many states where Faith Tabernacle Congregation Churches are located.
