Amosun’s Suspension: NWC’s Decision is final, absolute, says Abiodun
The governorship candidate of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun has described the suspension of the state governor, Ibikunle Amosun by the party’s National Working Committee (NWC) as final and absolute.
Abiodun stated this while reacting to Amosun’s suspension and that of Imo State Governor, Rochas Okorocha during his ward-to-ward electioneering campaign tour in Ijebu Igbo Local Council.
He said: “The NWC has taken its decision. That is the highest administrative body of APC and is saddled with unquestionable rights over the party’s affairs. I salute the decision and I stand in deference to their judgement. APC is bigger than all its members and we must respect its values through sanctity of our actions.
“No doubt, it will serve as deterrent to those who wish to undermine the authority and supremacy of our party. We are not members of a party without guiding laws. We are an association of cultured members that embrace party philosophy. And any decision taken by the national body of our party is supported by me and my people in Ogun State,” he said.
