ANEEJ urges N’ASS to pass Proceeds of Crime Bill before 2019
Africa Network for Environment and Economic Justice (ANEEJ, has urged the National Assembly to reconvene in order to consider the passage of Proceeds of Crime Bill before 2019 general elections.
David Ugolor of ANEEJ explained that the country needs the Bill to strengthen the Assets Recovery regime and ensure that corruption does not pay. He appealed to the Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki, and other principal officers, to put the interest of Nigeria above any other consideration.
