ANEEJ wants National Assembly to urgently pass proceeds of crime bill
The Africa Network for Environment and Economic Justice (ANEEJ) has urged the newly-constituted National Assembly to resolve the uncertainty affecting the passage of Proceeds of Crime Bill and ensure the bill is passed to strengthen Federal Government’s fight against corruption and poverty.
Executive Secretary of ANEEJ, David Ugolor, in his congratulatory message to the new leadership of the National Assembly yesterday in Abuja, urged the lawmakers to urgently resolve the knotty issues in the bill, including other anti-corruption bills, so that Nigeria could continue to enjoy the support of the international community in the recovery of stolen assets.
