Anglican bishop blames parents for social vices
Bishop of the Anglican Diocese of Egbu, Imo State, Geoffrey Okorafor, has said that parents should be blamed for youths’ engagement in cultism and other social vices in the country.
Okorafor stated this during a Eucharistic service of Confirmation, Admission and Induction at Christ Church, Emeabiam, Owerri.
The cleric said the level of secret cultism in educational institutions had become worrisome and must be tackled.
He attributed the prevalence rate to the inability of parents to live up to their responsibilities by setting good examples for their wards.
