Ansar-Ud-Deen holds confab on societal challenges
The Ansar-Ud-Deen Society of Nigeria has urged Nigerians to participate actively in the forthcoming general elections to ensure good leaders are elected into offices.
The call was made during a press conference to herald the society’s activities towards its 10th triennial national conference held in Lagos.
President of Ansar-Ud-Deen, Aare AbdulRafiu Ademola Sanni, said the theme of the conference would address the aggravated challenges of the family unit and parenting and its wider ramifications on nationhood.
He said that social media had done damage to the youths due to parents’ negligence, noting that the major cause of security challenges in the country is corruption and the principal responsibility of any government is to secure the life and property of citizens.
Chief Missionary of the society, Sheikh Abdulrahman Ahmad, said the contributions of the Ansar-Ud-Deen Society of Nigeria to Nigeria’s education system could not be over-emphasised as the society has produced prominent people in the society.
