Anti-corruption body gets new commander
War Against Indiscipline (WAI) has appointed Chief Benneth Onwudiwe, a social crusader, as its Lagos State Assistant Commander.
Speaking during the ceremony, Onwudiwe noted that the trainings he had acquired from WAI would enable him deliver on the mandate of ensuring justice.
He said: “My tour of duty in WAI will be focusing majorly on bringing law offenders to book, regardless of who they are.”
Chairman of the brigade in Lagos, Nicolas Obiugu, said the WAI brigade was focused on law and order in the nation, and urged Onwudiwe to serve with diligence and integrity.
