APC blames Makinde for infrastructure deficit, insecurity in Oyo
Oyo State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC), yesterday, flayed Governor Seyi Makinde and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) over infrastructure deficit and worsening insecurity in the state.
In a statement, the state’s Publicity Secretary of APC, Olawale Sadare, said Makinde’s ineptitude was responsible for the widening gap between Oyo and other states across Nigeria in terms of all-round development.
The APC also berated the ruling PDP, alleging that the party was only interested in siphoning public funds rather than developing infrastructure and offering good governance.
It, however, urged the governor to act decisively on the menace of armed robbers, kidnappers and ritual killers, who are tormenting residents of Ibadan, Ogbomoso, Ibarapa and other parts of the state.
The party also warned Makinde to stop forcing adulterated and fake dividends of democracy down the throat of the hapless citizenry.
