APC mourns Buba Jibrin
The All Progressives Congress (APC) has expressed shock over the death the Deputy Majority Leader of the House of Representatives, Alhaji Umar Buba Jibril.
The party, in a statement by its National Publicity Secretary, Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi, extended its deep condolences to the family of the deceased, the National Assembly and the government and people of Kogi State over the loss of the three-term member of the House.
The party acknowledged Jubril’s vast contributions to democracy as a former speaker in the Kogi State House of Assembly and as a longstanding member of the House, who moved many motions and initiated bills geared towards a better life for Nigerians.
It noted: “The late Jubril was a grassroots politician dedicated to the service of his people. He would sorely be missed.
“May his soul rest in peace.”
