Following the allegation of corruption thrown against the former Vice President, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar by the Governor of Kaduna State, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, some Northern elements have come out to condemn the governor’s statement.

Besides, both Atiku and El-Rufai have recently traded words against each other on corruption charges, which prompted members of the Arewa Defence League (ADL) to criticise the utterances of the governor against the former Vice President, Atiku, yesterday.

In a statement by the President of the group, Mallam Murtala Abubakar, said that “our attention has been drawn to yet again another act of disrespect and reckless utterances of Malam Nasir El-rufai when he referred to Turakin Adamawa as a corrupt leader being hunted by his corruption demon”.

Mallam Abubakar while saying that those living in glass house don’t throw stones, remarked that “El-Rufai is nothing but an ingrate, biting fingers that fed him in the past”, while insisting that the governor “should concentrate on the mandate given to him by the good people of Kaduna State to improve their welfare and protect their lives and property”.

According to him, “It is saddened to note that kidnappers, cattle rustlers among other acts of criminality has taken over his state, yet he has failed to take proactive measures to address it, but instead travels around other states and country without showing the much-deserved attention no his state challenges.

ADL stands for ATIKU DEFENCE LEAGUE and not Arewa Deference League. Let them stop deceiving themselves.

It’s only a man without brain in his head that will believe the trash coming out of El-Rufai’s mouth.
Atiku brought him to lime light when he was vice President and he’s now insulting the elder statesman, he once called PMB expired politician and an analogy man who will mistake blackberry for a fruit and he’s signing a different song.
I honestly feel sorry for the good people of Kaduna whose mandate the man is misusing and are suffering the man’s in actions.
Leaving his people to be massacred by his boys popularly known as herdsmen who are having a filled day in the state he’s governing.
Nigerians seriously needs to rejects politicians like him whose politics is based on divide, rule and kill like we are seeing in kaduna.
