APAY accused the governors of using their positions to corner public resources for themselves and their cronies, to the detriment of the yearnings and aspirations of the people.
Addressing a press conference in Kano yesterday, the youths, through their leader, Abubakar Bakori, passed vote of no confidence on the governors for failure to address the socio-economic development challenges of the region.
Bakori insisted that northern leaders should be held responsible for the insecurity and criminality in the region, arguing that their inability to end the prevailing challenges continued to worsen livelihoods.
