Troops of 22 Brigade, 7 Division of Nigerian Army, in collaboration with Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF), have killed seven suspected terrorists in Borno.

Army spokesman, Col. Sagir Musa, in a statement on Friday, in Maiduguri, said exchange of fire in the axis resulted in the extermination of seven Boko Haram insurgents.

“Seven AK-47 rifles were also recovered in Thursday’s fierce battle at the abandoned Fuye and Melere villages in Lake Chad region,” Musa said.

According to him, there were no casualties on part of troops and CJTF members.

He urged the public to provide credible information to the military and other security agencies for prompt action.
