Atiku defeats Buhari at APC governorship candidate unit in Ogun

Governorship candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ogun State Prince Dapo Abiodun failed to deliver his polling unit to Nigeria president Muhammadu Buhari.

Buhari lost to the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar at Ward 3 Unit 2, Ita Osanyin in Iperu, Ikenne local government of Ogun State.

PDP’s Atiku polled 124 votes in the ward where Abiodun voted, while Buhari’s APC had 118 votes.

Also, former governor of Ogun State, Gbenga Daniel delivered his polling unit to his candidate Atiku Abubakar of the PDP.

Daniel, who is the director-general for Atiku’s presidential campaign voted at Ward 12, Isofe Sagamu.

At Ward 12, Isofe Sagamu, Atiku polled 137 votes to defeat Buhari’s 87 votes.
