In a bid to enhance customer experience, AXA Mansard Insurance Plc has launched the First Responder Service (FROS) that aims to support customers whose vehicles are insured with the company whenever they are involved in road accidents.

The service is an initiative meant to provide flexible and efficient claims settlement to customers on the retail motor insurance plan right at the scene of accident and provide necessary assistance to them, as well as reduce turnaround time for service delivery to customers.

With the launch, customers would have access to trained FROS, who have been trained to perform the first responder duties and on-the-spot assistance to the customers, assess damage to his/her vehicle, adjust claims and initiate the claims.

The company’s Divisional Director, Retail Solutions, Mrs. Rashidat Adebisi said: “Customer experience is very important to us and we want to provide services that would be customer-oriented to help our customers get both service and support at the scene of unwanted situations, like road accidents.

“In carrying out this service, the company is expected to arrive at the accident scene within 10 to 30 minutes of the customer’s call and considering the traffic situation in Lagos, the officer would arrive on a power bike.

“With the service, customers on our vehicle insurance package with vehicles worth N3 million will have access to the FROS, who will provide on-the-spot assistance to them, should they be involved in an accident. The service is currently only available in Victoria Island, Ikoyi, Lekki, Ikeja and Surulere.
