The Bauchi State Primary Healthcare Development Agency(BSPHCDA) says it has received and deployed 21,000 doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine to health facilities across the state.

Dr Rilwanu Mohammed, Chairman of the Agency, stated this in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria
(NAN) in Bauchi, on Sunday.

“The vaccine was received from the National Primary Healthcare Development Agency (NPHCDA) last week in Bauchi.

“The Society for Family health, a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) transported the vaccine to the state as a corporate social responsibility.

“AstraZeneca is meant for second jabs, so all those who had their first jab should visit any of the facilities for the vaccine”, he said.
