Bauchi partners ICT firm to digitise operation
Bauchi State Ministry of Education and Centre for Information Technology and Development (CITAD) have partnered to train education administrators to be ICT compliant.
The state’s Commissioner for Education, Dr. Aliyu Tilde, at the weekend said the partnership was to leap the ministry from its ineffective way of paper file communication system within its publics, adding that computers have been distributed to all the 219 public secondary schools across the state.
“Almost nothing could be done successfully without Information Communication Technology in the ministry due to the large size of workers, as there are 20 local councils in the state and we are having it difficult to communicate memo to all the schools,” he said.
